In order to reserve hotel and excursion, please download and fill RESERVATION FORM for Hotel & Excursion (PDF) then FAX it to JTB (Please refer the reservation form for detail).

Hotel Accommodations

* The above room rates are special for Profes2004 including tax and service charge. and is for one room without breakfast
(you can order breakfast at front desk when checking-in).
** T: twin use rate, S:single use rate
*** Free bus transportation between JR Nara station and Keihanna Plaza will be provided twice a day during the conference.

Official Travel Agency

JTB Corp., the official travel agent, will handle all necessary travel arrangements including hotel reservations and local transportation. Participants wishing to make hotel reservations at the above hotels should complete the Hotel Reservation Form and return it to JTB before March. 12 , 2004. Hotel assignment will be made on a first come, first-served basis. If there are no vacancies in the hotel that you request, a room in the nearest grade will be reserved. All inquiries in this regard should be sent to the following address:

Notice: Transportation from Airports to hotels/conference site will not be arranged by JTB. Instructions to reach hotels/conference site are described on Venue & Local Info. page.

Reservation

All Reservations should be accompanied by a remittance covering the hotel deposit of \5,000 per room which will be credited to your bill.
Therefore, please pay the balance directly to the hotel when checking out. No reservation will be made in the absence of the deposit. The remittance should be made in Japanese yen in the form of:

Bank draft:	payable to JTB Corp. Kyoto Office
Credit card:	American Express Card, Visa Card, Master Card or Diner’s Club Card, and most of the credit card issued in Japan

Cancellation

In the case of a cancellation of a hotel reservation, written notification should be sent to JTB Corp. The deposit will be refunded after deducting the following cancellation charges.
If notice of cancellation reaches JTB...

- 9 days or more before the first night of stay....	JPY1,000 per room
- Two to eight days before ....	20 % of daily room rate
- One day before or no notice given ....	100 % of daily room rate

Excursions & Optional Tours

Pre-Conference Tour: Nara’s Big-Two World Famous Temples

Course : Keihanna-Plaza(13:00) -> Todaiji temple(13:40~14:40) -> Horyuji temple(15:20~16:50) -> Mitsui Garden Hotel Nara(17:30)
(Lunch box will be served at Keihanna-Plaza)

Tour Fare: Adult JPY5,000/ Child(6-11yrs) JPY4,000

Todaiji : Todaiji has the stature of Great Buddha in the world's largest wooden building. A wonder of religious architecture. The hight of the stature is 15m, and the weight is 380t.

Horyuji : The grounds of Horyuji (Horyu Temple) house the world's oldest surviving wooden structures, conveying images of Japan as it existed more than 1,300 years ago, during the Asuka Period (A.D.mid 6th-beginning of 8th c.). Horyuji is Japan's first world cultural heritage.

Those who wish to join the excursion program are kindly requested to indicate so on the Tour Reservation Form and send it to JTB Corp.

You may directly reserve from JTB's page, or you can reserve at JTB's desk on Conference site (reservation should be made at least 1 day before ).

Important notice: There is pick up service from New Miyako Hotel in Kyoto, not from the venue or conference hotels. Detailed instruction to reach pick-up point from conference hotels will be provided by JTB.

Cancellation

In the case of a cancellation, written notification should be sent to JTB. Cancellation charges are as follows.

- Up to 9 days before the date of the tour .....	JPY1,000 (handling charge)
- 2~8 days before .....	20% of the tour fee
- Within 2 days, or without notice....	100%of the tour fee
